I recently have been here, as a class project to help them design new graphics for their museum. I recommend anyone who passes by or anything to stop by! They have real photos, newspaper prints, uniforms, and much more from WWI & WWII. Everything there is in good condition and the people who work/ and volunteer are really passionate about what they do and really make sure they keep you educated before you leave!

The Edgecombe County Veterans' Military Museum is a great place to honor our nation's Veteran's. There is something for the whole family to enjoy, including a fully restored World War II Jeep and mechanical tank kids can drive via remote.

They have an superb amount of history in this museum. Covering Civil, WW1, Vietnam, and WW2 eras, they have a huge collection of historic tools, pictures, weapons, artillery, vehicles, and more. A lot of these are authentic materials. They have a massive amount of books as well, should you need some information covering certain war topics. They also have a restroom here if you plan to stay a bit. Currently, they are still renovating and updating parts of the building, so you may not be able to see everything they have to offer just yet, but you still have a lot to digest for now. The museum itself is clean and tidy and the staff are always wanting to chat with newcomers while giving you a very warm welcome. Check this place out if you want to relive history's most iconic but dark and honest past wars.
